Palashbari Projonmo Torun Songho: A Beacon of Hope

2020 was the year of corona epidemic. Many people died in the world due to corona virus. In this corona epidemic, some have lost their father, some have lost their mother and some have lost their loved ones. Seeing this, college student Al Amin was pressured by ghosts to form a service organization. Thought is action. Al Amin created a service organization called 'Palashbari Projonmo Torun Songho'. The journey of the organization started from June 23 of that year. But where will the capital of this organization? Raised hands to collect money. Many including friends. Also, about hundred students of various educational institutions and various professional people are associated with this organization today.

This organization has now evolved into a public welfare service organization. This 'Palashbari Projonmo Torun Songho' is the pillar of hope for helpless people. Starting from educational support to poor students, providing food to orphans in orphanages, extending a helping hand to the needy in various ways. The members of the generation youth association are reaching wherever there is news of helplessness. Distribution of food items, medical items, winter clothes, distribution of wheelchairs to the disabled, assistance to the families affected by the fire, assistance in the development of plantations, mosques and madrasas. The main capital of the organization is its own running money and support from wealthy people. At present the number of members of the organization is about 100 people. Deputy editor of the organization Farooq Ahmed said that during the Corona period, the members of the organization went to the homes of poor and helpless people and delivered food items. About 7 thousand surgical masks have been distributed along with medical assistance to helpless people. During Ramadan, iftar items and Sehri are distributed in various streets including orphanages throughout the month. On Eid, food items and clothes are distributed as Eid gifts to the needy. We find cold people and give them winter clothes.

Founder President of Palashbari Projonmo Torun Songho Al Amin said that during the terrible flood of 2022, I went to Sylhet and distributed relief among the flood victims. Also, we have distributed relief to the flood victims of Feni, Noakhali, Comilla due to the terrible floods of 2024. Heartfelt people from different parts of the country helped in the distribution of relief among the flood victims. Also this organization has a mobile library. This will spread the light of education in various educational institutions of the upazila. Will encourage people to read books. Majnu Mandal of East Faridpur village said, I see the needy people of our area to be by their side in any need. He contributed cash for the development of Jama Masjid. Orphanage teacher Mahmud Hasan said, I heard that this organization has supported our orphanage by giving about 25,000 taka for the balcony work. Also we always approach the organization for our orphans as needed.
